Today in news items that make you aware of how absurd living in New York City is, the Huffington Post brings us the story of Theresa Roemer’s “Female Man-Cave” or the “She-Cave” as she calls it.
In her Houston, Texas home, Roemer has constructed a custom, three-story, 3,000 square-foot closet, complete with spiral staircase and champagne bar!
The closet is home to her extensive collection of designer bags, shoes, and clothes. She assures us, though, that the space is more than just a space to display her labels; “Yes, it’s full of amazing things, but this closet was built and intended for fundraising.”
Over her lifetime Roemer has helped raise millions for charity, and she uses the closet to host fundraising events. A party in her closet was recently an auction item for the American Heart Association!
